On October 19th, 2008, dozens of top-notch college students in Orange County will team up in support of Children’s Hospital Orange County. MommyMixer’s SoFab Sitters, clad in white MommyMixer t’s, have a fundraising goal of $5000 and hope to beat it by leaps and bounds! Victory! June 24, 2008

Ok, so it’s a small one, and only exciting to me, but nevertheless… my favorite Lululemon pants fit again! Only 3 months post-baby! In case you are wondering, here they are -

They are called Groove. Mine have light pink and hot pink panels instead of the purple. These are the MOST comfortable yoga/walking/workout pants I have ever found. Well worth the hefty $80ish price tag in my opinion! I am a huge fan of most of the Lululemon line – check it out online or at Fashion Island or their brand new store at the Spectrum opening this week! You can never have enough Lemons!

More Summer Movie Madness June 18, 2008

I figured I’d just wrap up all of the free summer movies I could find, while I am on the subject.

Regal Entertainment Free Summer Movies

Selected G & PG movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. First-come, first-served seating is limited to theatre capacity – ticket are FREE

Participating theaters include Metro Pointe, Triangle Square, Aliso Viejo, Foothill Ranch and more. Each theater has different movies/schedules.

AMC Theaters Summer Movie Camp

Wednesdays, June 25th – August 6th, 10am All Movies $1 (All admission proceeds from AMC Summer MovieCamp will benefit Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.)

It’s A Free For All! June 17, 2008

Here is a great family event for July that I happened upon today. The Orange County Performing Arts Center will host Free For All Movie Mondays again this summer. Dates and movies are below. It looks fun, we’ll be attending at least once, my 3 year old has already proclaimed that we must go see the Muppets!

Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs or other easily portable items on which to sit, with set-up beginning at 5:30 p.m. Assorted candies, beverages and popcorn will be available for
purchase. The Newport Beach Film Festival will present a collection of short animated films prior to the main feature, which will begin at dusk. Guests may bring their own snacks and picnic suppers, though barbecues and similar food preparation will not be permitted.
