Here’s a great inexpensive family adventure to get the kids off the couch during a warm summer evening. This summer, to celebrate it’s 10th anniversary, the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach will be open unitl 10pm on 10 Sundays in June, July and August. After 5pm on these special nights, everyone gets in for $10! That’s a great discount – 50% off for adults. And yes, you can easily see all there is to see in 5 hours, it is a fairly small aquarium but a really neat one. I have been a member for 3 years now and my daughter loves to go visit the fishies any time the fancy strikes. She buzzes thru the entire aquarium in about an hour. It is also an awesome Beat The Heat activity – they have LOVELY air conditioning! For more info, visit The Aquarium’s Website
