So, I decided today is the day that join the rest of the world in creating a blog. As a work at home mommy to 2 beautiful girls, Abigail age 3 and Isabelle age 3 months, there is not much free time in my day, so I must be completely crazy for even thinking about this. But, alas, here I sit, typing away with a baby bouncing on one knee and Shrek screaming from the surround sound in the family room. When I am not at my computer, swim lessons, Starbucks, or chasing bottles, diapers, and sippy cups, I can be found at a local Girl Scout leaders meeting, where I volunteer my time. I have been involved in Girl Scouting for the past 22 years and believe it is an amazing program to help mold girls into awesome young adults. I must be crazy because I have also started homeschooling my oldest daughter and plan to homeschool both girls at least through 4th grade. I am very lucky to be able to work at home for MommyMixer and be here to watch my darling girls grow every day. I am a crazy shopaholic when it comes to baby stuff (I have eight strollers – yes for TWO kids!) and especially love new gadgets and inventions made by moms. When we need to get out of the house, my girls and I can be found at Disneyland, the Long Beach aquarium, the Fashion Island koi ponds, or the Discovery Science Center.
